ShoeMint Haul!!!

I was surprised today with my ShoeMint purchases from Thanksgiving and Black Friday!  I didn't receive any shipping notifications, and they were shipped in unmarked brown boxes so imagine my surprise and giddiness when I ripped them open to find these lovely beauties inside!

Edith
Fit:  I went a 1/2 size up and they're actually a little loose so I might exchange them for my normal size.  I haven't decided quite yet.
Quality:  The suede leaves a slight residue on my hands (I only noticed because I wiped my hands on my tights and also accidentally sat on Edith...whoops) but that can be fixed using a suede protector spray.  Other than that, the suede upper is very soft.
Comfort:  They do not feel like 6" heels at all!  My initial impression is that there is really good arch support.  I'll let you know more once I take them out for a spin.

Jolly
Fit:  I went a 1/2 size up and they fit well.  There's enough room for normal thickness socks too.  These shoes run wider than normal so if you have wide feet, you should be fine with 1/2 size up.  If ShoeMint is sold out in the 1/2 size up, I think you can get away with your normal size.
Quality:  The pony hair upper is soft and smooth, not rough and disheveled like I have seen on some other shoes.
Comfort:  My initial impression of them is that they will be very comfy shoes!  The sole is this gummy rubber so it will absorb impact well.  I'll let you know more once I take them out for a spin.

Pauline
Fit:  I went a 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly!  When I first took them out of the box I was surprise how small they looked but quickly realized it was because the platform is so high.
Quality:  The suede is soft and velvety, but does not leave a residue like the Ediths do.  I can see myself paying twice the price for these in department stores.
Comfort:  They're a lot higher than I expected but they seem like they would be very comfy.  There's ample arch support.  My only worry is that the side of the bootie hits right underneath my protruding ankle bone so I may have to come up with a fix for that.  I'll let you know more once I take them out for a spin.

Overall I am very pleased with my first ShoeMint purchases!  I think the shoes are definitely worth their $79.98 price.  I'm so excited to style them on the blog (my mind is already making up outfits).  New styles will be released in January.  I just don't know if I can wait that long!

Currently only Edith in black suede is available, but I've heard directly from a ShoeMint rep that they will be restocking the 3 styles in the next couple of weeks.  If you haven't signed up for ShoeMint yet, do it here.

♥ C.
