I love how statement jewelry can completely transform a seemingly plain outfit. For my entry into the T+J Designs Style Challenge, I have styled my outfit around one of my favorite new jewelry pieces, the Statement of Art necklace from Modcloth. Bib necklaces are really in right now but I find them difficult to incorporate into my wardrobe. Bib necklaces make a huge statement by themselves, so my advice is to keep your clothes simple. I'm pairing my statement necklace with a simple silky cream color dress. I used a skinny white belt to cover the elastic waist of the dress and give it some shape. On top of my statement necklace I added some other statement pieces that I think go well with the necklace but are not overpowering. I went with a gold theme - some gold earrings, gold bangles, and gold bracelets. I topped off my look with some coral pumps that match the necklace to make coral a strong foreground color in my outfit, which makes the necklace pop even more. The overall effect is a romantic-y, classy look.
