Results: 'Ice Queen' from Belladazzle!

The amount of jewelry I own almost rivals my shoe collection.  So when I saw this gorgeous necklace on my friend Jules, of Shoes and Jules, I knew I had to commission the wonderful talent behind Belladazzle to make me a necklace too.  Belladazzle is a handmade jewelry and fashion small business run by the wonderful, amazing Esther (who is also one of my fellow shoe lovers!).  I gave Esther a few notes such as I wanted a short necklace, but not choker-length, made with wire and ribbon, and I wanted leafy accents.  I wanted the color pallet to be silver, white, and black.  Esther used sterling silver wire, shimmery silver ribbon, clear and black multi-faceted glass beads, freshwater pearls, and silver leaves to create my 'Ice Queen' necklace:

Isn't that just one of the most loveliest necklaces you have ever laid eyes on???  There are so many intricate details on this necklace, I can't even show you it all in the pictures! (I kept the photos 'clickable,' so, go ahead!  Click on them to see more detail!)  'Ice Queen' is exactly what I wanted - a statement necklace that I could wear with just about anything, from fancy-smancy dresses to business suits, to casual everyday clothes.

On top of all of that, the packaging was just adorable!  Esther included a cute little hand-written card (with a shoe on it!) and wrapped my necklace in bubble wrap and leopard-print paper.  In fact, it was so well-wrapped, it took me at least 5 minutes to pry open the box and get to my long-awaited necklace.

Esther really strove to communicate with me throughout the entire process of making my necklace to make sure I was happy with the progress and the results.  This will definitely not be the last time I commission a piece of jewelry from Belladazzle!

I also bought this 'wild cat' bracelet on a whim (it was on sale!).  I really love it!  Even though it was not a custom-made piece, the packaging and quality did not deter from that of my necklace.

I am very excited to work these two pieces into my wardrobe!  If you are interested in jewelry from Belladazzle, check out the Belladazzle Facebook page where Esther posts photos of her inventory.  Be sure to like the page to keep updated on any sales or specials!  Also, please post on Belladazzle's wall and tell her that Chee from the Shoe Doctor blog sent you!  (There's currently a most-referrals contest going on until 9/16.)  If there is a necklace, bracelet, or earring that you have been dreaming of but have never been able to find, let Esther know and she can custom make something for you too!!!  Belladazzle also sells designer inspired handbags, so really there is a little something for every accessorizer.
