I got the Audrey Dress by Apart (via Ideeli of course, otherwise I would not be able to afford it) as an early birthday present to myself. I love this dress and had been eyeing it for months. I still love it, but I think it makes me look like a cupcake.
I paired the dress with my red Accents from Sole Society (my favorite/birthday shoes #18). Accent is so comfortable. I swear I can wear these shoes forever and have absolutely no problems. If you are interested in getting her, FYI, she runs narrow, I had to go up a 1/2 size to prevent circulation deprivation.

Of course, the right accessories is also a must!

I wore this outfit to dinner with my little sister when she was visiting me in Ann Arbor. She had a pretty snazzy outfit too!

I gave her my Kelsi Dagger Eliana
pumps (my favorite/birthday shoes #19) because I have since decided that they are too big for me. I got a replacement during the Moxsie 80% blowout sale for an amazing price, so I did not feel too terrible about my loss. I think all the heels my sister owns are from me...

We went to Temptations, an amazing Indian restaurant that is located in a strip mall in Ypsilanti, MI. Because of Temptations, I will never underestimate strip mall restaurants ever again!
Don't believe me? Just look at our food!

Our paneer kabob appetizer:

Garlic and basil naan:

My sister got the shrimp curry. It surprisingly had a toasted sesame edge to it. Mmmmmm!

I had the chicken dolma platter. So delicious!

Our dessert was a little bit lack-luster. i.e. The presentation was not as good as the rest of our meal, but it was still pretty tasty!
I got the rice pudding (left) and my sister got the pistachio kulfi (a traditional Indian ice cream).

It was a great dinner filled with great food and shoes!
